About Tom
Hi. I’m Tom Kreffer, a dad who writes about dadding.
I’ve written to my son every day about parenthood since the day I learnt of his existence. I’m the author of the Adventures in Dadding series, parenting memoirs seen through the lens of a father and his journal.
To my knowledge, I am the only person on the planet who writes about parenthood in as much depth. I leave nothing on the table, offering readers a fly-on-the-wall insight into what parenting is really like!
Why do I do this?
For many reasons:
- To reflect deeply on my role as a parent so that I can learn to be a better one
- To create a gift for my son when he’s older (imagine your parents giving you their journals about you on your 21st birthday)
- To offer readers a unique perspective on parenthood that they won’t find ANYWHERE ELSE
The three most common words I hear from readers when they’re describing my books are ‘honest’, ‘relatable’ and ‘funny’.
