FAQ's

What is The Search for Sanity?

The Search for Sanity is Book Four in my Adventures in Dadding series, covering the second year of the toddler phase, from two to three years old.

Who is The Search for Sanity for?

It's for anyone who can relate to parenthood in any way, especially the toddler phase, or anyone who enjoys reading memoirs where the lead character is a two-year-old who gets off on torturing his parents.

How is The Search for Sanity different from your other books?

I've written about pregnancy, newborns and one-year-old stages of parenthood. And now the terrible twos stage. My subject has grown and matured into something more fascinating, headstrong and - I'm pained to say - deeply amusing. This is reflected in the book and should give readers a fascinating and complex character to get behind.

Is the book written in the same format as the series?

Yup, daily journal entries covering my son's second year on the planet.

What are some of the highlights that readers have commented on?

The same as all my other books: the humour, the relatability and the unfiltered honesty.

Anything else?

This book has been by far the most fun to write out of the series (so far). I believe that shows in the quality and test reader feedback has been extremely positive. Hopefully, readers will find a lot that they can resonalte and with and smaile at.
